Crossing The Border | Van Life Türkiye | The Hippie Trail #25

After a short visit to Bulgaria, it's finally time to cross the border into Türkiye! After hearing a few horror stories we were both stressed to cross this border but as always there was nothing to worry about, we crossed this border within an hour!
In Edirne, the first Turkish city after the border, we stopped to buy a SIM card, to get Turkish Liras and to buy a vignet to be allowed to drive on the highways. Running these few errands took almost the rest of the day...
After a quick stop in Lüleburgaz, and a great night with other overlanders, we drove to Istanbul where we bumped into a few hiccups to reach our parking...
