Lower Body Warm Up Exercises If You're Over 60 - DON'T SKIP THESE!
Hey, It's Brian and welcome to the next installment of the over 60 training series. Today, I will show you some lower-body warm-up exercises for over 60 men and women. Do these before your main workout to warm-up your central nervous system, move better and prevent injuries.
Ideally, you should do these exercises daily. The 2 main muscle groups we will target are the hamstrings and the hips.
Full Warm-Up Routine (Write these down)
- Leg Swings for 20-30 seconds per leg
- Hip Hinge for 8-10 Reps
- Single-Leg RDL (Romanian Deadlift) for 8-10 Reps per leg
- Hip Thrust for 8-10 Reps
- Lying Quad Stretch 8-10 Reps per leg
- Standing Quad Stretch 8-10 Reps per leg
- Hip Flexor Stretch 20-30 Seconds per leg
- Siderman Stretch 4 Reps per side
- Hips to Sky 8-10 Reps
