Others are simply trying to survive and make ends meet in an era of lack of affordable housing solutions. The Green Box Container Tiny House measures 25 feet long, 8 feet high and 9 feet tall and stands on a three-axle trailer, which helps it comply with local regulations for mobile homes and allows for easy movement. It was built by Alternative Living Spaces, a Las Vegas-based small business that specializes in converting shipping containers into customized homes, and is set amidst lush Hawaiian landscapes. With a five-foot stained glass window and two 8-by-5-foot floor-to-ceiling sliding windows, it allows the owners to truly feel connected to nature. These large windows bring in lots of natural light, blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor space, and also create a wonderful cross-breeze that immerses you in the atmosphere of the wild jungle. There is also an outdoor folding terrace where Brandy and her partner can have coffee while watching the birds and beautiful scenery.
