The 5th Export Potential Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran, also known as Iran Expo 2023, commenced in Tehran on May 7, 2023. In an interview with CGTN at the expo, Alireza Peyman Pak, deputy minister of Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, expressed his confidence and optimism about the future of Iran-Saudi Arabia diplomatic ties. He also said that the two counties will benefit from bilateral trade as Iran-Saudi Arabia relations keep developing in a positive way.
