Building a Simple Countertop Display Case

My friends asked me to make a large countertop display case for their store in Dallas. If you're in the area, stop by Neighborhood at 411 N. Bishop Ave.

Notes:
▶ When using the sawdust-and-glue trick to patch minor gaps in wood, don't wait for the glue to dry before sanding. The additional sawdust created by the sanding helps the repair to blend in. When applying the glue, you can just apply a generous helping to the area and rub it in with your finger, rather than painstakingly using a toothpick like I did, but I prefer not to have to sand away surrounding glue stain, especially when I'm working with veneer.
