Making CarPlay wireless - CPLAY2air test and review

Quick review and how-to use tutorial for CPLAY2air dongle which will convert your car from wired to wireless CarPlay. The device works as wireless bridge between your Apple iPhone and your cars infotainment system to bring CarPlay interface to you dashboard without you taking your phone out of your pocket.

ℹ️ At first use: turn on your car, plug in the #CPLAY2air dongle to the USB port instead of your phone, wait for the setup menu to appear on your cars display, tap on search (make sure that your phone have WiFi, BT, and Siri turned on), select your device, check your phone for pairing confirmation.
From now on you don't need to do anything. Every time you start you car, the device will #wireless connect to your phone automatically when it's nearby.

❓ FAQ
Your car needs to be #CarPlay enabled first - it needs to have wired CarPlay option working. This device will not bring CarPlay feature to unsupported cars. Car used in this test is 2016 VW Golf MK7 with App-Connection option.
CarPlay is available for Apple iPhones (iPhone 5 and above).

Go to http://192.168.50.2/ and select gear icon
Synchronous mode - Normal: Resolve instrument panel display problems.
Synchronous mode - Compatible: Resolves the issue of certain vehicles not connecting to the dongle.
Media Sound - DVD : better sound quality.
Media Sound - CD: solves the problem that certain cars have static/playback issues
Media Delay (300-2000ms): The greater the delay, audio is less likely to stutter. The lower the delay, music and album art/images will be more synchronised. This delay setting is associated with the network environment in the vehicle and can be adjusted according to the actual circumstances.
