In 2004, I never planned to dive into the world of real estate. It happened by chance, and little did I know, I was about to fall head over heels for it, especially the incredible depreciation benefits of large commercial properties. That year, I became a partner in my first real estate project. My income peaked, and my tax burden lightened. I relished this experience, despite not yet qualifying as a real estate professional.

This newfound excitement and fascination with real estate led to a series of adventures. Over the next few years, we embarked on constructing five more campuses. Then, 2008 and 2009 arrived, and I felt ready for the next step – to venture into real estate on my own terms, beyond campus construction and investment.

So, I took a leap of faith by purchasing 10 single-family homes in just one year. It all began as a dare from my family, who had their doubts, but I was determined to prove them wrong. 🚀
