Labor’s green energy plan roll out needed ‘more thought’
The Australian’s Environment Editor Graham Lloyd says “more thought” should have been given to the “roll out” of green energy.
The AEMO has announced delays to green projects and the closure of traditional power sources could mean power shortages across the country.
There is concern about the roll out of the energy transmission, particularly from regional Australia.
“This is the lesson from the roll out that perhaps a lot more thought should have been given to at the beginning,” Mr Lloyd told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“People are generally hostile to the industrialisation of rural communities and areas that by and large people waned to live in peace.
“As the AEMO report shows, this is critical to what has been promised and eventually something is going to have to give.”
