This is my review for the @RICKOWENSOFFICIAL Rick Owens PORTERVILLE Collection. YouTube is already brimming with insightful fashion essay vids and reviews however I felt the need to share my thoughts on this special collection for it resonated with me and Im sure it did to you as well.
Beyond the balloon boots and superlative concepts, the collaborative spirit Rick forged with the new guards of art and fashion charged the entire collection on a DEEPER level.

What I truly loved in this collection is the full “circling” of fashion , now with Rick in the centre of this creative microcosm ; He, approached the younger generations that represent us in completing this herculean narrative about resistance and homecoming.
Yes , this collection brings message that there is a chance and hope for us to shine, to express and finally to exile from our very own personal Porterville.
