Gliding Beware - Other Colour Pics Share This Title (1960)

M/Ss of four men taking the body of a glider out of a container at a gliding club in Lasham, Hampshire; then lowering the wings onto it and attaching them. M/S of another man in a modern-looking silver glider as a man places the cover over him - this one looks quite small and claustrophobic to me!

M/S of a couple sitting side by side in a yellow glider with 'Air Scouts' written on it, as a man attaches a towing rope to the front. M/S of the small truck they use at this club for towing as the rope is attached to the back of it.

M/S as the truck starts off, towing the yellow glider which takes off; this one doesn't have a cockpit cover - maybe the couple are wedged in so tight that they can't fall out? M/S taken from the air of a glider coming in to land. Point of view M/S taken from the front of a glider coming in to land on the airfield - it's a bit of a bumpy landing!
