Jonathan Zimmerman is the Judy and Howard Berkowitz Professor in Education at the University of Pennsylvania, where he is one of the foremost education historians working today. He is also the author of "Free Speech: And Why You Should Give a Damn," which features drawings by the Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist Signe Wilkinson.
