It’s d-day for thousands of students across the country as they find out their A-level results. But with so much pressure on them to get good grades, is it so bad if they fail? Not according to self-made millionaire Kate Stewart. Expelled from school at 15, a single mother at 17, Kate is proof that failing at school doesn’t make you a failure. Determined to help children struggling with the education system Kate went undercover as a teaching assistant as part of Channel 4’s new series ‘The Secret Teacher’. And one boy who caught her eye was year 11 student Zain Ali. The two of them join us on the sofa to tell us why the experience has been life-changing for both of them and how Zain is feeling ahead of his GCSE results next week.
