New Education, New Haves, part 2
In the past few years, some Chinese parents have expressed dissatisfaction about the education system. The main reason is the fact that the current system puts great emphasis on examination scores -- something that, many parents claim, restricts the development of students. Beginning in the 1980s, many educators started to rethink the education system, and to explore the feasibility of some reforms. In 2002, Zhu Yongxin put forward a new theory of educational practices. This week's Inside Zhejiang tells you about this new education theory.
