Egyptian Reggae

The very first song I learned to play! On Boxing day this year I should be playing exactly thirty years, if I haven't miscalculated. Time to start posting some stuff to celebrate. Some will be new recordings, some will be stuff that's still somewhere in my archives. In those cases the videos will be playback or pictures. We'll see. More coming up soon!

Egyptian Reggea had been a bit of a hit in Holland some years before I got my first guitar. IOt was written and recorded by Jonathan Richman and the modern lovers. My nephew thougt me some stuff when I started out. This was lesson one for me, albeit in another key. Actually in all its simplicity, and stupidity, I still think it's a cool tune!
