JP, Schawee, Mr. Ed & Dirt Rooster On One Plate

Had the opportunity to perform a removal with some very good friends & fellow beekeepers who all happen to have their own youtube channels as well.
This one was a lot of fun & we genuinely surprised the heck out of Mr. Ed, "Jeff Horchoff" by concealing the fact that Dirt Rooster was also joining us on this late February day.

It was a beautiful albeit somewhat chilly & windy day but the people who owned the building wanted the bees relocated as soon as possible so we picked this day to complete the task at hand.

Still unsure if this colony had cast a swarm a few days prior but they did send me a pic of a swarm that was clustered on a hedge bush within ten feet of the colony we removed. There was evidence they swarmed but also evidence that perhaps they didn't but it was inevitable they were about to, perhaps again.

Had a blast with this group of guys, all genuinely knowledgeable about bees & the craft of bee removal & all with their own unique sense of humor. There was never a dull moment nor any friction whatsoever between any of us & that's a rarity when 5 men are working together to achieve the same goal.
