Carol Burnett in FADE OUT - FADE IN (1964, Broadway)

On the occasion of Ms Burnett's 91st birthday, we present some footage from her 1964 musical venture, Fade Out-Fade In.
Also starring Dick Shawn (who replaced Jack Cassidy) and Tina Louise, directed by George Abbott, sets & lights by the Eckarts, lyrics by Comden & Greene and music by Jule Style. Dick Shawn's presence indicates this was filmed sometime between February and April of 1965 at the Mark Hellinger Theatre. In the first shot we see Ms Burnett perfecting her Shirley Temple spoof, which would become a staple on her CBS show just a few years later.
