Basic Modular Arithmetic Example Calculations

a mod n is the remainder we get when we divide a by n (existence and uniqueness guaranteed by the Division Algorithm). When we do modular arithmetic, it is often beneficial to "mod first". That is, we apply the mod operator before adding or multiplying. We do examples in this video to illustrate that it works. We compute: 1) 22 mod 6, 2) 38 +. 61 mod 6, 3) 38 + 65 mod 6, 38*65 mod 6.
