The Long Beach Coin, Currency, Stamp & Sports Collectibles Expo 2025 in California is one of the most important numismatic events of the year, and I had the opportunity to sit down with Silvano DiGenova, founder of Tangible Investments, Inc.. With a career spanning over four decades, Silvano is a co-founder of PCGS, has handled some of the biggest private treaty transactions in numismatic history, and continues to specialize in early U.S. gold, high-end Morgan dollars, and rare silver coinage.

This year’s Long Beach Expo, held February 20-22, 2025, at the Long Beach Convention Center, has seen major changes, with organizers focusing exclusively on the February show while pausing the June and September events. The show featured PCGS on-site grading, Heritage Auctions, and expert sessions with some of the biggest names in numismatics.

Silvano has been attending Long Beach since 1982, and in this interview, he shares insights into the show’s evolution, the current state of the coin market, and what makes Tangible Investments a go-to firm for rare coin collectors.
