Countdown to Ames 2021 | Mooting for Oral Argument

In the days leading up to oral argument, the four oralists from the two finalist teams practice in the Ames Courtroom.

The 2021 Ames Competition Final Round event will take place on November 16, 2021.

The Ames Competition is one of the most prestigious competitions for appellate brief writing and advocacy in the country. Students participating in the Final Round start the competition in the fall of their 2L year. From there, two teams progress to the Final Round through their strong research abilities and excellent written and oral advocacy.
