At Cochlear, innovation is the basis of everything we do—including the development of new sound processors for Cochlear implants. When Cochlear’s product managers and research audiologists set out to design Kanso, they wanted to meet recipients’ needs; and therefore, designed a discreet and simple sound processor, without compromising hearing performance, quality or reliability.

“We want to make sure that we get the product as reliable as we possibly can, so we have included a host of tests way beyond what the industry requires,” explains Emir Delic, system project manager. “We do all the testing possible to ensure that Kanso will be as reliable as it can be.”
