Single Oil Soap Making - Olive Oil Castile Soap

For this soap, I used 100% refined olive oil for my base oil to make what’s called a castile soap. I also added essential oils and kaolin clay. Lather tests at the end.

Refined Olive Oil - 100%

Superfat - 5%

Water = 1.8 x sodium hydroxide (36% lye solution)

Lime - 40%
Lemon 40%
Rosemary - 10%
Litsea Cubeba - 5%
Patchouli - 5%
