Amplifier Testing - Featuring the Rotel RA 1412

In this video, we use the GW Instek MDO to perform a frequency analysis and display a Bode Plot. We first looked at the plot of a straight-through connection with a standard coax. Then we looked at the performance of the buffer preamp I built earlier. Then we looked at the RIAA pre-emphasis circuit in the buffer preamp. Finally, we tested the performance of the Rotel RA-1412 integrated amplifier. We also test power output, THD, Square wave analysis with and without a capacitive load and look at the harmonics on the spectrum analyzer. I had a lot of fun making this video!
