Nelliyampathi is a hill station within the Nelliyampathi forest reserve, southwest of kerala. In the Last episode it was all about Nelliyampathi and it's beauty. we got an amazing experience in off road in mahenrda thar. It was so easy to go through all the inclined twist and turns with this beast. If you are lucky enough the safari can give you an opportunity for spotting exotic birds and animals like elephants, Indian gaur, giant squirrel. It was an unexpected incident an elephant was right in front of our vehicle. We actually had no clue about how to handle the situation. we kept quite and watched him. It was a live or death situation. From my past experience their level of irritation is the biggest warning sign, which is best assessed by the state of its ears. If an elephant’s ears are just flopping about, the way they do when it walks, then you’re on fairly safe ground – for now at least. If the ears have fanned out from the elephant’s head, as if they’ve just caught a strong gust of wind, then the animal is annoyed and may charge. After sometime the elephant lost interest in us, wandering off to munch on some nearby branches, while we started the car and slowly rolled away. We are so lucky to survive from this incident.
