Stockbridge Pipe Band in Grade 3A finals at 2022 British Pipe Band Championships in Scotland
Stockbridge Pipe Band Edinburgh competing in the Grade 3A finals during the 2022 British Pipe Band Championship, held at Battery Park at Inverclyde, Greenock, Scotland on 21st May. The band, led by Pipe Major Euan Whitmore, are playing "Detroit Highlanders", "Lieutenant McGuire's Jig", "New Year in Noosa", slow air "J F McKechine", "Kalabakan" and "The Canon". After a 2 year break, and with many new members competing for the first time, the band did very well being placed 5th in grade 3A bands.
Stockbridge Pipe Band, who wear Stewart of Appin Muted tartan, are a community-based competition pipe band located just north of Edinburgh city centre. They currently have three bands registered in Grade 4B, 4A and Grade 3A of the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association.
