Rescue aircraft, ships scour sea north of Bali for missing Indonesian submarine

The search continues for the missing Indonesian submarine Nanggala 402 and its crew of 53 that disappeared off the coast of Bali. An Indonesian submarine -- which was involved in search operations for the Sriwijaya Air plane that crashed earlier this year -- has also joined the operation. The vessel is equipped with underwater sonar detection capabilities. The missing submarine is said to be silent and detection can only be made through sonar. Indonesia's navy chief has said the submarine is expected to run out of oxygen.
