back saw restoration

I Restored this Broken old Back Saw at the local recycling centre. I paid $1.00 for it and some other stuff.
The wood for the handle is an Australian Timber Silky Oak which has a unique grain pattern.

All up it took me around a day to complete.

I don't like to add a high polish to my restored saw blades as I find they resist rust better with the black layer remaining after the rust is removed.
