The World's Poorest President
A major reason why the presidency is the ultimate political prize largely lies with the glamour and the prestige of the office. Presidents typically live lavishly in magnificent palaces, driven by the best limos money can buy and with squads of elite guards for personal security. Money is hardly a problem as presidents are well remunerated for their governing troubles. But in a screaming contrast, in a South American country, the president lives poorer than his average citizen. Here's Evelyn Wambui with the story of 'the world's poorest president'
