Goodwood Track Day: 125MPH In My Fiesta ST! (feat. Hampshirephoto)

I took the Fiesta ST Performance Edition on its first track day at Goodwood Motor Circuit, hitting 125mph in the process! Joining me was my good friend Luke from Hampshirephoto in his 2019 BMW M140i Shadow Edition. This is part 1 of a 2 part series from the day, with part 2 coming soon and featuring a pair of incredible track focused supercars!

The Fiesta ST performed brilliantly on track, apart from the brakes fading badly mid-session and needing some recovery time (I would definitely consider upgrading these if track days/content become a regular thing). However, the smaller brakes did result in lots of squirrelling under braking which was great fun and you can just about see in the video! My car being the 1 of 600 Performance Edition, it has performance coilovers and lightweight alloys which, combined with the limited slip differential, made it so planted through the corners especially with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres sticking me to the tarmac.
