Young Elk with Attitude | Wildlife in 360 VR

Curious members of a herd of Rocky Mountain Elk in Colorado examine the unusual object in their path, letting their noses do the close-up sniffing. It passes their investigation and they move on. Good thing for the 360 VR camera that elk are herbivores not carnivores (see “Eaten by a Lion in 360 5K”). Elk graze on grasses most of the year. In the winter, they have to supplement their normal feeding by browsing on less palatable shrubs, tree bark and twigs because grasses are dead or buried under snow.
