Totally Under Control: Review & My Thoughts on the Pandemic Documentary
I'm not a documentary expert, so my review isn't perfect, but this is what I came up with.
It's a good documentary that tells a lot of us who have been following the pandemic situation in the United States what we already know: the situation is terrible. I think they gave me enough new information that I didn't already know to justify spending $4.99 for the viewing, but I did finish the documentary wanting more.
Part of the reason is that THE PANDEMIC IS NOT OVER! (Say that loud enough so the people at the bars in American can hear you). Most of the filming seemed to take place before May, the documentary itself came out in October, and so much has happened since then. Plus, THE PANDEMIC IS NOT OVER. It does feel like there is a lot left to be said, almost like it's part 1 of a three part epic series (of the downfall of America).
Worth splitting the cost and watching it with your friends. It's a solid 4 stars out of 5 in my book. (Unless you'll love Trump, then you'll just say, "fake news! What about the protests!" over and over and over again. Save your money, unless you want to challenge your own beliefs a little.)
Trump and his administration screwed up big time. That's the gist of it.
One more cool part of it was the comparison to South Korea, which did a phenomenal job of controlling the virus. So that's fun to watch (as someone who lives in South Korea.)
What are your thoughts on it? Have you seen it yet? Let me know in the comments section.
Stay healthy, and I'll see you next time. Goodbye haseyo.
