Colin and Sharon have been fostering with us for over thirty years. They reveal how bringing a child into your family changes the dynamics and what it was like to negotiate their birth children’s needs alongside their foster children’s. They also discuss how adopting their foster son changed their lives, and that of their wider family, and reflect on why adoption isn’t always the best outcome for children in care.
