Sailing in Iceland

We sailed from Reykjavík to Húsavík, for the project; Set Sails for Sustainability. In this trip we’ve felt so connected to nature and our oceans. I feel lucky and proud to be a part of this amazing group of people that want to learn from each other, inspire and take action when it comes to our oceans. In this trip we’ve researched micro plastics in the waters and in fish, we’ve collected around 200kg of plastics and learnt about wildlife in the North Atlantic Ocean. I’ve also had the opportunity to do what I love the most, capture the experience in photos and video to use for awareness and bring you guys as well, partly on this journey. I definitely want to do my part in contributing to a better planet. I think we can all make a difference, big or small, even if sometimes it feels hopeless. We’re in this together.
