2000 Indianapolis EA Sports Supercross Championship (Round 6 of 16)

This is round 6 of the 2000 EA Sports 250cc Supercross Championship and round 1 of the 125cc East Supercross Championship from the RCA Dome in Indianapolis, IN. This is the 5th of only 9 races from the year 2000 that I have.

Returning 250cc contenders like Kevin Windham, Mike LaRocco, Sebastien Tortelli, Larry Ward, 250cc sophomore Ricky Carmichael, '99 250cc MX champ Greg Albertyn, Damon Huffman, John Dowd, 250cc rookie David Vuillemin, Tim Ferry, Jimmy Button, and series champ Jeremy McGrath battle it out for the 2000 EA Sports 250cc Supercross Championship. This series features a season-long battle between Yamaha teammates Jeremy McGrath and David Vuillemin (famously called The Kid Against The King). Ezra Lusk and Jeff Emig are sidelined for the 2000 Supercross season due to an injured shoulder in practice at Anaheim 1 for Lusk, and Emig breaking both of his wrists on New Year's Eve 1999.

Returning 125cc East contenders like Brock Sellards, Stephane Roncada, Nick Wey, Suzuki rookie Travis Pastrana, Tyler Evans, Michael Brandes, 125cc West champ Nathan Ramsey, Kelly Smith, and defending champ Ernesto Fonseca battle it out for the 2000 EA Sports 125cc East Supercross Championship. Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Nathan Ramsey is forced to ride the 125cc East after he broke his thumb before Christmas 1999. This race marks the 125cc professional debut of Travis Pastrana, and the one and only 125cc Supercross win for FMF Honda's Michael Brandes.

Enjoy.
