Logical Song by songwriter Roger Hodgson OR Supertramp without Roger Hodgson
Here is first Roger playing his award winning hit The Logical Song, and after that a video of Supertramp playing Roger's Song, on their 2002 world tour.
I know there was a lot of controversy out there when Supertramp toured without Roger Hodgson and played the songs Roger wrote and composed. So this is our opportunity to explore which act you prefer performing Roger's songs ~ Roger's solo, band, and orchestra shows or Supertramp covering Roger's songs in their shows.
Supertramp isn't touring but Roger is in the midst of a world wide tour. He performs with band, orchestra, and acoustic publicly and at private functions as well. Here are some links to find out about his latest tour schedule and ticket information.

Also many fans have asked about the agreement that Rick and Roger made concerning their respective songs when they dissolved their partnership. When Roger Hodgson left Supertramp in 1983, he and Rick agreed that the band would not play Roger's songs. Their agreement was for Supertramp to become a vehicle for Rick's music and Roger would go forward with his future secured by his songs and his voice. This was not just a gentleman's agreement; the publishing company and contract legally recognize which songs each songwriter actually wrote. Roger has contractual approval rights over the use of his songs and Rick for his.

I decided to make a video to open up a discussion for debate. For myself seeing Supertramp years ago do covers of Roger's songs and seeing Roger performing his own songs I much prefer Roger. Don't you agree?
I'd like to hear from you - post your comments on my channel.
Here's a couple quotes from fans on concerts:
"A few years ago my wife and I went to a Supertramp Concert in Edmonton, without Roger Hodgson, and left entertained but missing something. You're concert two weeks ago identified what that was, and I realized for the first time who the real force and creative drive behind the band really was."
"Having seen Supertramp a few times, I knew that the band was a great band but I always knew that the heart & soul of the band was you. Thank you for sharing more of your self with us."
