This video explains classification of Organic Compounds.
Organic Compounds have two classes.

i. Open Chain or Acyclic or Non Cyclic or Aliphatic Compounds
ii. Closed Chain or Cyclic or Ring Compounds

Open Chain Compounds are of Two Types.

i. Straight or Unbranched Chain Compounds
ii. Branched Chain Compounds

Closed Chain Compounds are of further two types.

i. Homocyclic or Carbocyclic Compounds
ii. Heterocyclic Compounds

Homocyclic are of further two types.

i. Alicyclic
ii. Aromatic
