After Jonny Kim's podcast with Jocko Willink where he talks about working with Mike Sarraille, from BUD/s to Ramadi and Sadr City, and has a very close and personal phone call with Mike Sarraille following what he opened up about on Jocko Podcast 221, including a near-disaster after the first combat operation in Sadr City.

Jonny Kim brings up a Harvard educated officer in BUD/s who had a great civilian career who ended up being egotistical, arrogant and alienated others, thinking he was better than everyone. He shares a humorous story of an altercation between this officer and Mike Sarraille.

Despite this officer's poor characteristics, he would have made it through BUD/s on the physical and mental toughness requirements, but was dropped by the instructors which is rare, due to the toxic behavior he displayed.

They speak on the strengths and weaknesses of highly educated officers - some of them overcomplicate things, and fail to enact effective intelligence and use of time, and with communicating with subordinates, however some have been outstanding.
