Delhi | Wife In Hospital, Man Loses Both Parents To COVID | Locals Refuse To Help

Mojo Story's Madan Lal reports from Delhi's Burari where a man named Laxmi Tiwari lost his both parents to COVID. Laxmi Tiwari's wife is also covid positive and is admitted in the nearest hospital. His both parents died in a certain interval. At the time of his parents death, he along with his only child was at home and was seen by locals crying in his balcony. No body came forward to help him. He called Ambulances but due to some financial issue, the ambulance didn't come. Later on, a girl saw his message circulating on whatsapp and contacted him and helped him to get the bodies of his parents reach to the cremation site. The girl said to Mojo Story that she isn't associated with any NGO and hasn't even seen Laxmi Tiwari but helped him as she tells it's a responsibility of everyone at this time to cooperate and help others. She said that with the help of the local MLA, she helped Tiwari. Another woman of the locality told us that police also came and took stock of the situation. Tiwari has now returned to his village with his family, one of the locals said.
