'I was sacked everywhere!' Ancelotti's message for sacked Lampard

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has backed Frank Lampard to return to football 'soon' after the former Chelsea captain was sacked by the club on Monday.

Lampard spent 18 months in charge at Stamford Bridge before he was sacked following the team's recent poor run of form that saw Chelsea lose five out of their last eight Premier League games.

A relaxed, almost serene-looking Ancelotti had some advice for Lampard who is in his second management job in football:

"I was sacked everywhere."

Ancelotti was dismissed by Chelsea on the final day of the 2011 season and has since gone onto manage European giants Paris-Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Napoli.
