20 Week Ultrasound/Anatomy Scan- Seeing Baby & Unexpected Complications (2 Vessel Umbilical Cord)

This video is incredibly vulnerable and close to my heart to share with the internet, so please be kind and considerate in your comments. I am not comparing my experience with anyone else's. All struggle is real and valid and my thoughts and prayers are with everyone experiencing them right now. We love our baby more than anything and only want what's best for them! We will be hoping and praying for a healthy pregnancy and baby. Please feel free to share positive and encouraging stories in the comments so we can make this a safe and supportive space for other pregnant parents out there!

This week I'm sharing our experience from our 20 week anatomy scan. It was incredible to see the baby in so much detail and it made us more excited to meet them then ever! We also found out that me and the baby have a two vessel umbilical cord (also known as a single vessel artery). In this video, you'll see my raw, real reaction to learning this news. I will update you all in my next pregnancy update on what we've learned about this condition and how we're coping. PS- this was filmed before our gender reveal!
