This is the fourth part of a series devoted to how to buy, convert and travel in a van in Chile and South America as a foreigner.

In this series we begin by exploring the massive markets of BioBio in Santiago on a search for bargains to build our campervan. With a van full of supplies and materials we head back home to start getting into build however the solar shower installation doesn't go as planned….find out why.

Who are we?

We are Vendula and Marcel, an international couple from the Czech Republic and Australia who have been living in self converted vans around the world. We are currently taking on our biggest challenge to date, converting an empty van in Santiago de Chile which will take us on our biggest adventure yet....South America. We will be posting regular videos on the van build process and specifically how to build a van in Chile.
