Marilyn Monroe - At The Jack Benny Show " The Kiss " 1953

1953 - Sept 13. Marilyn Monroe made her first television appearance in the American program The Jack Benny Show, presented by comedian Jack Benny, for a skit entitled "The Honolulu Trip" Episode 4 of Season 1. The show was broadcast live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Six weeks after the completion of "Gentlemen Prefer Blonds "Marilyn took part in this show to promote, with the approval of the Twentieth Century-Fox. Jack Benny was very pleased with the participation of Marilyn in his show when he asked her what she wanted in compensation, iMarilyn told him, "Oh, I do not want money but no one ever offered me a car yet . "Jack and offered her a convertible black Cadillac convertible with red interior plucked: and though it does not know it at the time, due to the popular image of the presenter, no one would have been anyway believe.
