- Hi, my name is Florence. I'm one of the registered nurses here at Hair Restoration Blackrock. This video is to show you a good way to wash your hands. Make sure to remove all jewellery, wet hands with water, apply enough soap to cover cover all hand surfaces. In the clinic, we use Hydrex. At home, just use normal soap. Rub hands palm to palm, rub right palm over left dorsum with interlaced fingers, and vice versa, rub palm to palm with fingers interlaced. Rub the backs of fingers to opposing palms with fingers interlocked. Do your rotational rubbing of left thumb clasped in right palm, and vice versa, do your rotational rubbing backwards and forwards with clasped fingers of right hand and left palm, and vice versa. Rinse your hands with water, dry thoroughly with a single-use towel. Use the towel to turn off the tap, and your hands are safe. We recommend to wash your hands for up to 60 seconds, use soap and warm water, and make sure to wash your hands frequently.
