3 Step Linkedin Messaging Sequence For Generating Business Loan/Annuity Leads

This is the 3 step LinkedIn messaging sequence/framework that we're using to generate business loan, annuity, and digital marketing leads on LinkedIn. And it's working very well so far.

LinkedIn is an absolute goldmine for generating B2B leads for your business. We're killing it in the business loan, annuity, and digital marketing industries right now.

But one of the problems many people run into though, including myself in the beginning, is what to message people.

So you've identified your target audience, you have an automated outreach system in place so you can scale your LinkedIn lead generation, but what do you actually send people to get them to become a lead for your business?

What's working for us so far is the following framework:

1. Connect Request - same industry and wanted to connect.
2. Lead magnet offer + question
3. Follow up on the lead magnet

In the first step, (we automate this entire process btw) all we're doing is addressing the person by their first name to add some personalization, and then mentioning that we saw they were in the same industry and wanted to connect.

Once they've accepted our connection request, we say thanks for connecting and that we have a free guide/video we made for their particular industry. If they think it would be valuable, respond with a keyword we give them and we send it.

In this example, since we're generating business loan leads in this one, it's a simple lending guide for their industry.

But we also ask a question to encourage engagement as well. Some people respond requesting the lead magnet, others engage with our question.

In our business loan lead gen campaign, we're seeing people lean more towards engaging in conversation, while people in our annuity and digital marketing lead gen campaign want the lead magnet.

Every industry is different, so you have to test.

The third step is we continue following up another 2 or 3 times regarding the lead magnet.

It gives us a good reason to follow up without being salesy.
