Chennai (Madras), Bay of Bengal - Frank & Jen Travel India 24

After a three day train ride from Varanasi, our first experience of south India is the port city of Chennai (Madras) in Tamil Nadu. Chennai is a clean and beautiful city, but we only had five hours, just enough time to dip our feet in the Bay of Bengal at the public beach. Now it's off to Madurai and the stunning temples there.
