HS2 around the Quainton area February 2026

This film starts at Station Road, Quainton, where the the road bridge over the ex Metropolitan Railway is being rebuilt. When reopened, this road will be a dead end, and only serve the units west of the Railway Centre.
A new through road is also being built to take Station Road on a new alignment over the railway, and over HS2. The 2 bridges are shown here (6:56)
Next we see the area at Edcott Road, where the original Great Central Railway bridge has been demolished, and will be replaced with a new bridge over HS2.
Finally we move slightly north to Woodlands Farm, where the HS2 trackbed is taking shape.
