Obituary: E. S. Ambler

Eliezer Sathyamithra Ambler, born on December 31, 1948, breathed his last on May 5, 2023. He was the beloved first son of the late C.S. Ambler and Lati Sumithri Sundari Ambler. Eliezer is survived by his three younger brothers and one sister: Rev. Dr. John Wesley Ambler of Bangalore, Mr. James Gladson Ambler of Malpe, Mr. Charles Wesley Ambler of Udupi, and Mrs. Joyce Pallat.

Eliezer was married to Jaya Manickam and together they had a daughter, Ms. Edna Judith, who is present with us today to bid farewell to her father. Following the unfortunate separation from his wife, Eliezer remarried Jayamma, a dedicated school teacher, who is also present here to mourn his passing.

Tragically, at the time of his death, Eliezer was residing in an Old Age Home. Throughout his life, Eliezer touched the lives of many with his kind heart and gentle spirit. He was known for his unwavering support and love for his family, and his memory will forever remain etched in their hearts.

Eliezer Sathyamithra Ambler's presence will be deeply missed, as he leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of compassion and understanding. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his loved ones find solace in the cherished moments they shared with him.
