Pistol Shot Calling Drill

In this video I discus the one of the best pistol shot calling drills ever created. This drill is so simply yet so effective and it will 100% change your shooting life. The ability to call your shoot on demand is a pistol handling skill everyone must master. With this drill you’ll build a solid base on pistol shot calling and have the ability to instantly send a makeup shot if you see the shoot is not acceptable.

Pistol shot calling drill:

You’ll need a paper target with a line or small scoring area. Then you’ll load one round into the pistol and remove the magazine. Drill is simple, fire one round and dryfire the next shot. The beauty of this drill is that since you’re dry firing the second shot, you’ll get a clear view of exactly where the sights were when that second shot broke, thus giving you the ability to call your shots. With time your get better and better adding multiple shots still being able to call the shot.

Note: This pistol shot calling drill should be fired from the 5 to 7 yard line for best results.

Bonus Tip!! Add transitions or reloads for the follow shot.
