Korean V-line with Erna Limdaugh | Seoul Guide Medical

The Korean V-line face shape is very popular and can be achieved via non-surgical methods as Erna Limdaugh does in this video at Amoa Skin Clinic through Seoul Guide Medical. The non-surgical way Erna Limdaugh underwent involves a combination of Botox injections on the masseur muscles (jaw muscles), chin filler on the tip of the chin and skin tightening HIFU ultrasonic treatment around the chin and cheeks (Ulthera was used in this case). The Botox injections on the masseur muscles help to tighten the masseur muscles causing a slight change in appearance. Doing this on its own will not have a significant benefit to the V-line shape but it will give a slight change. In Erna Limdaugh’s case, the doctor determined that her proportions were off balance and that chin filler would add the needed dimension for a better V-line look. Thus, dissolving filler was injected into the chin. Lastly, the Korean V-line shape was enhanced with skin tightening via the Ulthera HIFU system which sends ultrasound into the skin, pulling up and tightening the skin and helping to increase collagen production. The results of these treatments are immediate but continue to improve over the next few weeks. This treatment is not permanent. Botox tends to last between 3-6 months, dissolving fillers last between 6-2 years normally depending on the kind your get and the HIFU treatment tends to last strongly for 3 months and it still has good effects for 6 months. In Korea, many patients do HIFU treatments like Ulthera or Shurink every 3 months, 6 months or yearly for a better Korean V-line shape and for generally tighter skin.

The results show that Venus Viva skin resurfacing has a very nice positive effect on Erna’s general skin condition, acne scars and pores. Although it had some lifting effective, the lifting effect is not while you should do this treatment (other HIFU based treatments are better for this).
