亲戚家种的高粱,收割完后,再次长出了高粱。亲戚不打算要了。莲姐瞅着不能白白浪费了,收割回来,做成了馅饼,就连高粱浆水都没舍得扔掉。熬了一锅高粱粥,正好搭配着高粱饼吃。

The sorghum planted by relatives grew sorghum again after harvesting. Relatives don't need these sorghum. LianJie couldn't afford to waste them. So she harvested it and made it into a pie. Even the sorghum pulp was not willing to throw it away. I boiled a pot of sorghum porridge, which was eaten with sorghum cake.
