Mist net: capture method for birds
Dr. Larkin Powell with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln discusses the use of a mist net for capture of smaller birds during mark-recapture studies. This video is used for an on-line course in Wildlife Field Techniques. Dr. Powell has applicable permits from the UNL Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and a federal bird banding permit for this activity.
